Remove red eye from a photo

The flash bounces off the back of the eye and turns the pupil red. Tap each eye and we bring it back to its natural dark color.

Tap each red eye. If it’s still red, tap again or make the brush bigger.

How to use it

  1. Choose your photo.
  2. Tap the center of each red eye.
  3. If needed, make the brush bigger or tap again. “Undo” takes you back.
  4. Tap “Done” and download the photo.

Why do eyes come out red?

In low light the pupil is wide open and a phone’s flash sits right next to the camera, so the light bounces off the retina and comes back red. To avoid it, take the photo with more light or without flash.
