No. 21 — Touch up
Darken a photo
Did your photo come out too bright, with a white sky? Lower the brightness to bring back the colors, and add contrast if it looks washed out.
How to use it
- Choose your photo: it’s already darker.
- Adjust brightness, contrast and saturation to taste.
- Tap “Create image” and download it.
Bring back washed-out colors
We darken the highlights more than the shadows, so colors gain strength without the photo turning black. If it looks dull, add a little saturation.
Questions and answers
Can a completely white sky be recovered?
If the camera recorded pure white, there’s no detail left: darkening turns it grey. It does help a lot with photos that are just a bit too bright.
What if I want it brighter?
Move brightness to the right, or use brighten photo.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Everything is processed inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Your photos never leave your device and nobody else can see them.
