Convert PNG to JPG
Screenshots and many images come as PNGs, which can weigh several times more than a JPG. Converting them is the easiest way to fit a form’s limit or send them faster.

When to use PNG and when to use JPG
PNG is ideal for logos, drawings and text with sharp edges or a transparent background. JPG is better for photos: it weighs much less and the difference is hard to see.

What happens to a transparent background?
JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white.
How much smaller will the file be?
It depends on the image. For photos and colorful screenshots, the JPG is usually less than half the size of the PNG.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Everything is processed inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Your photos never leave your device and nobody else can see them.
