Convert WebP to JPG

Many websites serve WebP images because they load faster, but once you save them, some apps, editors and social networks won’t accept them. Convert them to JPG right here.

How to use it

  1. Choose one or more .webp images.
  2. Adjust the quality if you like; 92% is usually perfect.
  3. Download your JPG images.

Why do my images save as WebP?

WebP is a format created by Google that weighs about 30% less than a JPG of similar quality. That’s why so many sites use it, and why “Save image as” leaves you with a .webp file.

Questions and answers

What happens to transparent WebP images?

JPG doesn’t support transparency, so transparent areas turn white. To keep it, use the image converter and choose PNG.

Does it work with animated WebP?

Only the first frame is converted, because a JPG is a still image.

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. Everything is processed inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Your photos never leave your device and nobody else can see them.
