Photo for a Chilean residence permit
Chile’s National Migration Service asks for a recent color photo with a white background, looking at the camera, with no glasses or hat, uploaded as a JPG or PNG on its Digital Procedures Portal. Make it here in the 35 × 45 mm ID format with a white background.
Drag the photo and zoom: the top of the head goes on the upper line, the chin on the lower one and the face inside the oval.

Questions and answers
What size is the photo?
Migraciones doesn’t publish an exact size; the 35 × 45 mm ID format with a white background is the safest choice.
Can I wear glasses?
No, the photo must be taken without glasses or a hat.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Everything is processed inside your browser, on your own phone or computer: your photos don’t leave your device. The only exceptions are “Put the suit on me” and “Restore photo”, which send a reduced copy of your photo to our server only to create the image, and don’t store it.
