Which code type should I use?
EAN-13: the one on products in stores and supermarkets (13 digits). UPC-A: the US equivalent. Code 128: accepts letters and numbers, ideal for inventory and shipping. ITF-14: for cartons. To sell in supermarkets, the EAN number must be registered with GS1 in your country.

Why does my EAN-13 give an error?
It needs 12 digits (we calculate the 13th) or 13 digits with the correct check digit.
Is the quality good enough to print?
Yes, it downloads in high resolution. Print it without stretching so the bars keep their proportions.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Everything is processed inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Your photos never leave your device and nobody else can see them.
